Victoria Bon is an eclectic singer, songwriter, violinist, and pianist. Her compositional style merges strong classical, jazz, pop, singer-songwriter, and soul influences with profound, and sometimes whimsical lyricism reminiscent of greats like Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, and Roberta Flack. That's not to mention the fact that Victoria is a highly skilled pianist, violinist, and arranger. She performs regularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Notable venues include the Library Bar at the Warwick Melrose, Six Flags Over Texas, GrapeFest, and Winstar World Casino.
Victoria was awarded a Bachelor of Music specializing in violin performance by Liberty University in 2014. She has also been the recipient of numerous awards for performance, including the AMTC SHINE Conference Overall Songwriter Award in 2015, and the LUSOM Senior Instrumentalist of the Year Award in 2014.
Victoria currently teaches part-time in conjunction with Rojas School of Music located in Grapevine, TX. As a teacher, her chief goal is to ensure that her students experience the joy of music-making. Victoria delights to see players grow in their abilities, and hopes that she may inspire them to find the same satisfaction she experiences in learning new techniques and repertoire.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Victoria is also an avid writer of fiction. Although for the time being she writes mainly for personal enjoyment, she has plans to one day publish one or more novels.
